I haven't mastered the graph paper process yet but will use it at times. Mostly I use EQ5 because I've had it for a number of years. Don't plan to upgrade. So if you find a deal on a usable copy of it, go for it. But graph paper works just peachy. Just takes me lots longer at this point. And I'm not really any good with EQ!
