One of the quilting groups I belong to meets once a week. No charge. The building is free.
The other meets once a month. We have dues of $20 per year. This $$ is used to purchase batting for our charity quilts. And we get the batting at a discounted rate from the local quilt shop.
Knowing me like I do
I would not be willing to pay that amount each week.. unless they wanted to feed me too!
