I once made a very labor intense quilt .. and was stumped as to what I was going to do for the border....so I went to my LQS ...quilt top in hand to pick out and maybe get a bit of "inspiration" from the staff for the final border. Lori, why don't you get your quilt out the next time you have a family reunion. You might be surprised at how many people might like that quilt. (Then you will have to draw names to find a winner. LOL)
I don't care for baskets nor those modern quilts that have so many large prints you can't find the pattern, (turning 20 and such). I don't like the jelly roll race either, at least not most of them I've seen.
