I made this lap quilt for one of my best friend's mom. She used to live with my friend, but she travelled so much for work, her mom decided to go to assisted living closer to her grandkids and other daughter, but she's just an hour away. I have met her a few times, but didn't know what she liked. My friend said nothing old fashioned, no pastels, so Moda's "Simply Style" fit the bill. This is my own design. I always like to use up as much of the fabric as possible and do something interesting on the back, so I took a picture of that, too.
