You did a great job! Your blocks look "square on" to me. I, too, have kept on going on a couple of quilts that took years and I'm glad I did as I am sure you are also! Well done.
Let me clarify, I'm pretty good about squaring up my blocks. The error is that each time I didn't take note as to where the point would wind up. Some were dead on the point, others here, there everywhere. Took great care of the measurements but not of the location.
