Kantuckee, just use some oil on every little moving part you see. You can clean up any dirt with a couple drops of oil. Muv has a wonderful video about cleaning up any old machine not just what she has in the video. Here is a link: http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...v-t167789.html I know some of us do a lot more than that but we are doing it on some derelict machines to transform them to last another 100 years more or less. There are parts available if you are missing any rubber parts, springs or what not.
