I've had a Paperwhite 3G for about 15 months, and I love it! I don't subscribe to the "special offers," which only show on the home screen, not when you're reading. All I want is a good reader. I'll check out the other stuff on my computer. I basically use the 3G feature instead of WiFi when I buy another book (which means I don't have to be anywhere near a WiFi signal). The Paperwhite is great for reading in bed and not disturbing my wife (who is the primary user of this quilting board).
