Be sure to sure the QB for past threads about signature quilts. I would iron freezer paper to muslin and then cut out over-sized pieces for the signatures. One of the problems with signatures is that people tend to write into the seam allowance, even if you have marked it off for them. One of the best suggestions I have seen is to make a window the correct size for the signature in a file folder; adhere the freezer-paper back signature muslin to the wrong side of the file folder's window. That will stop people from writing inside the seam allowance!
