I absolutely agree with all that you have been saying. I was telling my DH yesterday about the "well" in cream cheese. These companies really do think we consumers cannot tell what they are doing. When I was a young teen, Mom would give me $ .25. I could go to the theater, get a candy bar, and soda for that quarter. The best deal we have in the United States is a 49 cent stamp. For that money we can send a letter from Alaska to Hawaii and Maine to California. I had a friend in India and it cost her a full days wage to send a letter to me.
