Making the TP cardboard so big around is the biggest waste. More trees need to be cut down and that part is not used. (Except for a few kids art classes.) If the roll were much smaller around, that would be less "air" being shipped, the cartons used could be smaller, you could get more in the truck, etc. They just think we are all stupid and can't see that. A few years ago, I heard of being able to buy core-less TP. That would be a savings. But the idea seems to have fizzled.
