I have had the Viking 875 for almost 4 years and loved it and I exchanged with the 960 and love that one too. I have had the new one for few months now and no issues at all. I can't help much with the insert because with the 875 I was using the table that came with the emareld 215 and now I got the viking new white extension table for my new 960.
