For binding a miniature quilt, this is what I do. I cut 1-1/4 inch strips. Do not fold in half, sew binding with 1/4 inch seam to top of quilt as usual and finish edge as usual (joining binding strips how I do it). Trim batting and backing even with edge of quilt top. Fold binding to back of quilt and fold over a small hem and blind stitch the folded edge to back covering seam line. Hope I made this pretty clear for you. Your little quilts are darling.
