Best Soda Bread Recipe. Tried and true. I make it every St Pat's Day and take it to work for my coworkers to enjoy.

3 C. Flour
½ C. Sugar
1 T. Baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Baking soda
1 C. Raisins
1 T. Caraway seeds (optional)
1 ½ C. Buttermilk
4 T. Butter, melted

Preheat to 350 degrees. Grease a two quart round casserole dish. In a
bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir
in raisins (and caraway seed). With a fork, blend in buttermilk and
melted butter until evenly moist. Turn the mixture into the casserole
dish and cut an "X" across the top. Bake approximately 1 hr 10 min or
until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
