I contacted her, very nice lady and she sent me more pics. It was a roll top to start with as we all surmised. They cut a hole into the desk and set a platform in it so any machine can juts sit inside. The desk was very beat up and the machine in it was a Nelco. I passed..LOL

Seems like a roll top desk would be a real pain in the rear to use as a sewing cabinet, unless you were only sewing small stuff.
Of course they neglected to post any pertinent photos that show how the machine sits in or on the desk.
