The flat bar sticking out to the right on the foot seems out of place. Is that an old repair or original? If it is a repair, are you keeping it or trying to get closer to original? I'm just curious, both options have their good and bad points. On my woodworking machines if a repair is well done I tend to keep it as part of the history. If it's a hack job, I try to fix it.
