I think you have a great set up. Just keep practing, that is what it takes! I think you might do better to create your own free hand style than with pantos. I only say that because I don't think there are a lot of panto's in that throat size, I am guessing you couldn't go over probably a 5" one. I do a lot of mine that way using swirls, paisleys, loop d loop, stars, etc. Check out Leah Days (sp?) website and you can get a lot of ideas. I have also started doing a lot of straight line quilting which I didn't think I would like but am really loving.

Keep the hubby! I LOVE that lavender machine she is really good looking. I have a friend who would probably steal it from you if she lived close by - her featherweight is painted purple.
