I bought a Featherweight 221 I love, but when I get further along with piecing,into sewing the strips together, the throat(?) area is to small on Featherweight,so I am considering buying a nice Singer 301 on ebay..is there much more area in the 301 than 221???????
Looks like they operate very similarly..
