I use the rubberized shelf covering (actually looks like a rubber bubbled netting). 2.99 a roll at Walmart and I use it under my featherweight and my 301s just to keep them from wanting to escape my sewing :-). I cut a piece about an inch bigger all the way around and it works perfectly. Currently I have my featherweight on the kitchen counter (making a 156 blocks and so I work awhile and rest awhile) and there is a piece of this keeping the pedal nice and stable on the laminate wood flooring in the kitchen.
