Hi All,
I started the day by removing stitches. Then I carefully remarked those little dots that Derrick L. likes
to use on his star quilts. Using pins I found the mid points that had to match and hand stitched back to
those. Then I looked at the right side and "VIOLA" I actually made it match and I ironed the heck out
of it. Then I used the sewing machine and machine stitched over my hand sewing.

In Derricks pattern instructions it says to sew right through that dot at the points. I had done that.
THEN... after removing the stitches...I only sewed TO the dot. That made it so I could swivel (twist)
the points!

So Riutzelj, Jodie, Quilter65, Buzzin...etc, etc, etc., I did use alot of your suggestions in piecing this
top. And it worked finally. This is definitely a 'challenging' quilt and would be much easier if it was
actually handpieced. Mine will include both machine and hand. LOL

Thanks soooo much Quilter friends! HUGS
