That's what I use. It works ok. I'm wondering I'd a coat of fiber-lok would work. That's the stuff that you "paint" on the back of home made rugs to prevent slipping. I have some and if I try it I'll let you know how it works. There is a spray backing called SUPER GRIP that amazon has also. Ratings say it works great as advertised. I might give that a try. Come to think of it if it dries clear it may work on rulers and other slippery tools. Stay tuned.
