Default New in the Pacific Northwest

Hi, I go by Limeygal as I was born and raised in England and that seemed like a good name for me. I am a brand new quilter, having made my first, a baby quilt, just last fall for my sixth grandchild. Those in my class were used to me saying "never again, never again," as I struggled to cut up little bits of fabric and then sew them back again. Have you heard the expression: Never say never? Well, it sure applies to me. Somehow I have caught the bug and am just finishing up my second, full sized, quilt and have already started piecing the third. The ladies I have become acquainted with gave me quite a hard time a couple of weeks ago when I attended a landscape class. I have been sewing since 1964 but have never attempted to quilt. I now own two sewing machines (!) but love my 1974 Viking best. What a trip! I am loving it.
