Dr. Clark said my Optic Nerve is swollen, causing the blood vessels to leak blood behind the eye, causing fluid to come toward the front of the eye... and there are three retina specials in Iowa....the one that can get me in ASAP will be the one he will tell me tomorrow that I have an appointment with. When I am seeing bright red and bright blue with my eyes closed means there is blood in the back of my eye...the 'blotchy' look I am seeing is because of the swelling and Optic Nerve being enlarged. Its treatable, the sooner, the better. Funny, I could read his wall chart all the way down today. With one Optic Nerve gone in the left eye, I know I have to watch out for the good right eye. So I will do as he says on this one. Again, he is repeated what the nose specialist said, the root of my blood pressure problems has not been found yet. Just treating the blood pressure is not enough; keeping it in check is not the whole problem. So I am on pins and needles until they can treat my eye...

\\pecialist said several years ago, it all relates back to my high blood pressure issue not being solved by my docotor. Wellness checks and home monitoring its not enough, or not finding the right problem.
