It's very modern looking. Most modern quilts are heavily quilted, but you said you don't really have time for all that. I like all the previous suggestions, and also thought of quilting random shaped triangles (connected with straight lines where one side is lengthened until it becomes the side of the next triangle) all over. It would look kind of like meandering loops but with straight lines and triangles instead. You could also do the same thing with all over rectangles and squares which interlock partly overtop each other. Hope that makes sense. There're some pantograph patterns like that. One is named Contempo.
