I agree. There is no reason to overquilt this top. You have done a very lovely job with the feathers in the sashing. I have always preferred the look of hand quilting which has always been my guide. I think it is best to have the piecing of the quilt be the STAR and the quilting support and not detract from the beauty of the pieced top. Good Luck
