I did this quilt as a Block of the Month from our guild. I am not sure pictures of what I did will help you decide, but just in case they would, I am going to see if I can find them.
I actually did two, as I didn't like the red, yellow, and blue one as I got started, but finished it as a charity quilt anyway.

Check out the pics for reference-
Both are pretty but IMHO the blue is "WOW" basicly due to the blue sashing. It really makes the blue bocks "pop" and ties them together unlike the yellow/red where it looks like you used the same fabric for both the sashing and the background. looking at these pics you may want to rethink using the same fabric as background and sashing.
