When you cut off the stamps and taped them on the new envelope they were covered and the PO won't or can't cancel them after they are taped. It wasn't a problem for me, just paid the postage, but i never knew we couldn't tape stamps on.
When I received your original package, your return package got ripped when I opened it so I couldn't use it. Sorry about the extra postage!
