It's a Double Irish Chain, so you could probably find a pattern for it that uses 2 1/2 inch squares. Then, if you want to use the same quilting pattern that was in the magazine, you just copy it on a copy machine and enlarge it until it fits the square you're going to put it in.

Good luck! It's always been one of my favorite patterns.
I was thinking, too, that I could resize the "Plain" block pieces and use 2 1/2" squares. Would be easier.
