I made a twin size kids quilt with large applique pieces. In a rush and not thinking, I forgot to use the HeatnBond Lite only around the edges of the applique pieces (windowing). It was very easy to sew over the applique. The quilt was stiff until it was washed, but the appliques did soften up with each washing.
