I liked it with the white blocks, I thought it was pretty. But when you changed it to charcoal...WOW! That was a brilliant idea, and I NEVER would have thought of it. I think white or black. Now, I'm going to keep that in the back of my mind for future reference. The quilt is beautiful, great job!
