I have two that have this issue. It is usually wear... We have various thicknesses of bronze and Delrin shim stock that I eventually will use to resolve the issue on mine. Basically you measure the shaft front back and center and the hole in the crank front back and center, do the math for the differences, average, select the shim stock of the same thousandths as needed, trim to fit and wrap around the shaft when installing handwheel. Viola!
