I started my sewing craft by making halloween costumes. I made so many princess costumes. Then I thought, I can make Easter dresses. Daisy Kingdom, here I come. The main difference is ironing seams open for clothing. It's always rewarding when you hear your older teen age children return home from the party, saying "Oh my gosh! This one girl shouted at me from across the gym! I don't even know her, but she knew the character I was dressed up as for halloween!" This happened often for both of my 'gaming' children!
