I use Thin Spaghetti , cooked , (1 1/2 pounds ) Put 1 layer ( half of the cooked spaghetti ) in 9"X13 " glass pan ( easier to clean up than metal ) Top with 1 pound cheddar or Colby shredded cheese. Repeat .Add enough milk to cover the 1 st layer . Bake 350 degree for 30 - 35 minutes (until golden brown). This is how my grandmother & mother made this & my whole family just loves it . I usually make 2 pans , cook both put plastic wrap on top of one after it has cooled just enough the plastic won't melt , that way you can get the plastic to lay right on top of the cheese ( doesn't get that freezer taste that way ),Then I plastic wrap the whole pan & freeze, thaw when we want more & reheat the piece we want in the microwave , taste like you just made it . Make sure you bake before freezing or it will be watery !
