How To Repair Batting?????
Rhett, my male lab, decided last night it would be so much fun to grab hold of the batting and start flipping pieces of it over his head! I leave a large amount of backing and batting hanging out just in case there is a mishap. My problem is he was able to pull some of the batting away from the edge of the quilt. Can I cut a small piece and sew the edges of the batting by hand to repair this? If I don't overlap the edges too much I shouldn't have a lump in that particular spot should I? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
