Love the view! What type of machine were you using? I've been looking for a small, simple portable machine for vacation, camping, etc.
I actually splurged a bit...it's a Janome 3160QDC. Not a cheap machine but it has all the features I wanted (including scissor cut button, dangit I
love that button!) and since my main machine is a Janome I can share all my bobbins. It's not just my portable machine; it's my only free-arm machine so it's also my crafting/mending machine so it stays set up at home too. Sews like a dream, though, and worth every penny! Zero buyer's remorse. I paid $680, with a trade-in discount (before taxes) which seemed steep to me, but it's what I wanted and I'm really glad I have it now that I'm done paying for it!
