I've just never had that much trouble with batting and wrinkles. I iron all my quilts when sandwiched and they don't usually remain once I do that. Just iron from the center out once the backing fabric is laid on the batting, then flip over and add the top. Repeat. I buy that same batting from CT also. I lay it out in advance and let it relax.
