I have a Sizzix Big Shot I use for scrap booking and card making. When I was at Hobby Lobby a while back I saw dies for quilting that fit it. They're called Fabi dies and Sizzix has a machine for it, but it's the same as my Big Shot. I got a half square triangle and quarter square triangle die, but there are others you can get (tumblers, hearts, hexies I think). My point being that you can cut more than strips with your Big Shot.
