bag it, seal it up, throw in some moth balls, just for the heck of it. (do they still sell moth balls?? or maybe camphor oil) They're insidious. Once I had an old washboard hanging on wall. (drywall) one day it just disintegrated and fell down, riddled with dry rot from the inside out.
