I purchased a Sewmate IV a few years ago at the Houston quilt festival. I had looked at all of the vendors and when I saw this one, I was sold. I also got the Outback extension, shelves for the doors and an empty Madiera matching chest that fits in the opening over the drawers ( I use it for sewing machine feet, needles, scissors, etc.). I'm glad i spent money on the extras. I absolutely love it.
I sew in the dining room and the cabinet allows me to close it up if we have a need. I pull the machine away from the wall when I want to raise the outback and quilt a large quilt.
The only negative is the weight. It is on casters but a bit difficult to pull away from the wall on carpet. The quality is excellent.
