I glue baste and machine quilt. I don't think it would work for hand quilting as the parts where the glue is are very hard to put a needle through by hand. I have to be careful in not getting glue on the edge of my binding or in the corners of my binding as it is very hard to sew there with a hand needle. I also have run into issues where I tie off and bury my thread ends from quilting. If it happens to stop on a glue spot trying to get the hand needle through to bury the tread is a challenge. I can't imagine running into that all over the quilt with hand quilting.
