I am assuming this will be your first for machine quilting? If so, you have a few choices on how to prepare your sandwich for the machine. You can use 505 spray, safety pins, thread baste, use Hobbs fusible batt or Elmer's washable school glue.
After the sandwich is ready for the machine you can either use your walking foot for straight line quilting or try your hand at Free Motion Quilting with the darning or hopping foot. I good place to learn FMQ skills is at Leah Day's blog site.
