The panels are all the same as the one in the picture, but I bought yards of it and since each quilt is going to a different baby in a different state (except for the twins), no one will know that I simply mass produced them. And I can get away with it for the twins simply because they are twins. One has a green star for the centers and outer border and the other has yellow and an orangey-brown, so they can tell which one belongs to which child.
I love making easy baby quilts. When my daughter gets pregnant again, I'll have to make 2 for the baby. One to hang on the wall (it's got a LOT of applique) and one to snuggle and drag around. I'm hoping she holds off for at least 3-4 months though, until
after my sister's wedding. I'm already making her a wedding quilt, a signature quilt for the guests to sign, and gift bags for the bridesmaids and the ushers. Add to it the 2 challenges I'm in for my local quilt guild and the Baby Jane I'm making with the gals here and I think I've used up any extra time I might have for the next few months. (I'm tired just thinking about it!)
