Default Child's Singer Machines 1910 and 1914

Severak weeks ago I read on this site of a woman who had a childs' Singer Machine and it got me to thinking that
I knew I had my Mothers 1914 and also my Mother-in-laws' 1910. I got them off the top of the cupboard and they are in real need of TLC. Can these be taken apart and cleaned in any way? What is the best products to use to clean and shine them up. The wheel goes round on both, but they have a little rust and etc. from sitting on top of my cupboard and being out in the air. I do have extra needles for them, but want to clean them up before inserting a new needle. I also am missing the c-clamp from the l910. Any information you experts can give me will be greatly appreciated.
I do not usually post but I do read the posts.
