Stamped on the left item is OC White, Worcester, MA, patent pending. I did an Internet search and found this info

The company is still in business today and the vintage lamps it produced bring big prices.
I think the thing on the right is a bracket for a curtain rod - we had some like that in our old house, the rod was about 1/4 inch in diameter.
