I'm sorry you're having all this trouble with this quilt. It is frustrating I know but don't let it dampen your enthusiasm for quilting in general. Not all quilts are like this - in fact few are in my experience. Chalk this one up to experience and maybe not buy patterns from this place again. I had a similar experience with a pattern that I bought as a download and part of it was missing. The company never responded or replaced what was missing yet they frequently send me e-mails of their other pattern offerings. Grrrrr....
