Hi SoCal! Welcome from N.Texas. Your problem is the reason I like four patches and nine patches and the variations thereof shown on MSQC videos, and better than that, log cabins and Dresden plates. I'm glad there are so many people on this board who can help with problems like the one you have described. If I were doing it, I would decide what size squares and/or rectangles, recut all the fabric, and make everything nice and square. froggyintexas
