Is there a standard length cords that I should shoot for? I am updating the cords on a Singer 128. The cord to the foot controller seems short. My first thought is 6' to the wall and 5' to the foot controller. Am I off on that? These will go in a bentwood box so I am guessing I don't want to go overboard because it could get crowded.
Also I am thinking to use SPT-2 for the plug and the foot controller as long as I can get them to fit in that little terminal under the Singer motor.
