My first one was so large made in light blue gingham that it became a California queen. Thought I'd never make another but I just started on one in guess what, red and white like yours. Loved the beauty of the chicken scratch pattern and took my complete blue quilt to craft meeting and we started one in a heart shape. Doing chicken scratch can be great fun.
