I have only made one and I know exactly what you are talking about. That slippery fabric, especially if it has the holes in it, is a nightmare to work with. After reading the posts on this topic I had a brain storm. Why not photo copy that shirt and print it on plain muslin or even the plain solid color back of another T. That way the decal area would not be slick or shiny. I will have to try it before I accept another commission for a T shirt quilt.
