There were so many beautiful quilts at the show! This quilt almost didn't get to this point, because, during the piecing process, I almost 'kicked it to the curb' in frustration more than once.
Also, when I submitted the entry forms for the three quilts, I forgot to make copies of the paperwork and I honestly didn't remember I had clicked the judge option.
The judged quilts were supposed to have been brought to the show venue by a certain time (which was a few days before the show). I got a phone call 10 minutes after the allotted drop-off time and was asked if I was bringing the quilt! In a very surprised manner, I said would be right there! Luck had it that I was not at work!
