Depends on what it is made to sew. Some machines can punch through really thick material with no problem at all. A piece of plywood wouldn't be much different than the same thickness of leather.
oh yes it is...... not even necessarily harder, just VERY different. this machine does NOT have the slack and or flex built into it to sew something this rigid. this "test" damaged the machine regardless of the "success" of the results...
